Mr. Simmons is the principal of Alexis's school, and the patsy in Meredith's latest little ploy in "Always Buy Retail". Mr. Simmons is conned by the actress into letting Alexis out of school for the day on the grounds that her grandfather just died. A compassionate man, he fails to grasp Alexis' half-plea that she has a calculus test, saying he's sure the teacher will understand and let her do a make-up later.
