The Communist Ettins appear in the Secret Adventure Mode, now in the C2 version as well as the C3/DS version; though to get them in C2 you'll need the version 0.2 update. Normally, they frequent the areas around the Statue of Good, and can be quite a challenge to pass, as they tend to steal objects you'll need, and not letting you have them unless you bring them something in return. However, if you manage to summon the Staue of Evil, most of them will go to the Meso (remember to bring porcupines for them to eat, so that they won't turn to cannibalism).
