Kortes is a character in Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. Kortes is a childhood friend of Shallie's and also acts as her bodyguard. He is a warrior who was trained in combat and martial arts from a young age. He is very protective of Shallie and treats her as if she's a younger sister. He begins to question his clan's ancient ways and yearns for a society more advanced than his own.
