Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure is an upcoming attraction set to open at Shanghai Disneyland at the Shanghai Disney Resort by June 16, 2016. Based on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, themselves based on the original Disneyland ride of the same name, the attraction will be found in "Treasure Cove", the first Pirates-themed land of any Disney Park. Currently in construction, it was announced as a "first-of-its-kind pirate adventure".
