During this time, Barry also submitted, and Paramount purchased, one of his own stories for The Next Generation, entitled "The Crystal Skull." Outside of his work on Star Trek, Barry has a handful of TV series writing credits. Among them include the script for an episode of Hunter entitled "Night of the Dragons", which featured an appearance by Star Trek guest actors Clyde Kusatsu and Nathan Jung.
