The Great Platypus is first encountered on the 2nd floor in Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City. Though hosting meager stats, this monster will provide your first taste of the dangerous poison effect with its Poison Tail. Just make sure to kill them before they have a chance to poison you, and they pose little threat.
