Beyond there surname, and that they live in Vaasa, their clan is unknown, although Ivan and Pikel frequently ally themselves with the Battlehammer clan. At the start of The Cleric Quintet Ivan and Pikel were employed by the Edificant Library as cooks. The priests say that they were some of the best cooks that the library had ever seen.
