The Order of the Sith Lords, also called the Sith Order, was created in 1,000 BBY out of the remnants of Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness. It was based on the principles found in Darth Revan's holocron, from which was formed the Order's principal doctrine, the "Rule of Two". This incarnation of the Sith relied mostly on treachery and stealth tactics to achieve their goals.
