The Academic Standards for Journeying Allowance (or ASJA's) is a test given to all Year 9 students. The ASJA decides if the student may legally go on a journey. The ASJA is not the only requirement for journeying. It is but the final test in a long line created by Hakkou's Ministry of Journeying called the Journeying Acceleration Course or JAC.
