Shortly before dinner time, criminals Rocky, Meek and Moose are planning to hide from the police in Castle Frank N. Stein, but Meek isn't too keen on the idea. Inside, Chuck D. Head and Igor are trying to listen in on Professor Frank N. Stein's cooking when they are attacked by an explosion of giant fruit and vegetables. Frank believes he can now cure world hunger, but the foul taste of the carrots makes Chuck wonder if they'll die first of food poisoning. The disagreement is interrupted by the appearance of the criminals who hold the residents at gunpoint. As Rocky explains they'll be staying there, Igor recognises their luggage as The Maltese Budgies, four speaking birds that have been kidnapped, a million pound ransom on their heads.
