After the Soviet Union won the Cold War, a new movie of The Grapes of Wrath was made in the late 21st century. Like nearly every other cultural art work, the film was a boring, unimaginative propaganda piece, extolling the virtues of communism above the evils of capitalism. Annarita Crosetti and Gianfranco Mazzilli saw this version to celebrate the end of finals. Neither enjoyed the film; Annarita preferred the novel.
