The 1968 World 600 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 26, 1968. Buddy Baker had begun to lap most of the field when, on lap 255, the race was called due to rain. Baker's victory of Donnie Allison would be his only of the year.
