The Midwood Decks was a small city in the Midwood Marshes of the Deepwoods during the Third Age of Flight, comprising numerous clusters of buoyant sumpwood cabins. Unlike the stiltshops of the Copperwood District of Great Glade, the cabins were tethered to the ground by powerful anchor chains, and designed using the technology developed by the academics of the Sumpwood Bridge Academy. A lawless city, the Midwood Decks played host to many feuds, most of which were instigated by Togtuft Hegg's pro-Hivers. The Battle of the Midwood Marshes played out near the Midwood Decks, during the course of which the Great Glade Militia triumphed above the powerful legions of the Hive Militia.
