Les Power was an adversary of Dick Tracy who appeared in a print advertisement for AutoLite Auto Parts. He had a slim build, wrinkled cheeks, prominent teeth and marks on his face (either freckles or some kind of skin condition). Les Power was an assassin that was hired to kill a foreign dignitary that was visiting Dick Tracy's city. Power modified his car to resemble a police cruiser, but he failed to adapt the engine as well. This allowed Tracy to detect which car was not part of the official police escort, and Les Power was captured before he could complete the assassination.
