John Jett (born November 11, 1968) is a former American football punter in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions. He played college football for East Carolina University. Jett won two Super Bowl rings with the Cowboys in Super Bowl XXVIII and Super Bowl XXX. He currently lives in Northumberland County, Virginia, has a very prominent beard (often braided), and has served on the Northumberland County School Board.
