Bluto was spying on them so he knows about the treasure too. He charters a plane and gets a head start. Popeye charters a plane from Wimpy's Flying & Hamburger Service. Wimpy's plane is faster so Bluto causes a storm to slow it down. Wimpy bails out of the plane so Popeye must land it. Unfortunately Bluto gets there first. However, Eugene the Jeep helps Popeye find the first clue, a secret door to the inner castle. Bluto then tries to lead Popeye in the wrong direction. It does not work because he finds the second clue anyway, a key under the welcome mat.
