The Connection Map becomes available from the 2nd or the 3rd chapter of the game. The first character in the Connection Map is always connected to Endou in some way. In the second and third games, it is necessary to recruit the first character in the Connection Map to continue the story of the game. Characters which are otherwise not available by scouting or recruiting can be obtained with the Connection Map.
