Jhasso is first encountered in the basement of the Seven Suns building where he is being held prisoner by, or is hiding from—it's not clear—the doppelgangers that have taken over the establishment. He is the proprietor of the establishment, and a friend of Scar, the officer of the Flaming Fist that sends you to investigate.
