The Battle of Tophalion was an attack by the Nami pirates, who were backed by the Alliance to Restore the Republic, on the Tophalion, a space station that produced advanced TIE fighters for the Galactic Empire. The pirates were hoping to acquire TIE/D Defenders for themselves and the Alliance. They were defeated by the 982nd Imperial Fighter Wing.
