Anthony Rester (アンソニー・レスター, Ansonī Resutā) is the SPK's second in command and its operations leader. Like the other members of the SPK, he works under a false name, since Kira needs to know a person's real name and face before he can kill them. He is referred to by Near as "Commander Rester," implying a military background.
