John Midgley is an English sound engineer. He won an Academy Award in the category Best Sound Mixing for Hugo and has been nominated for others. He has worked on over 90 films since 1977, including such titles as; Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999), Quills (2000), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2004), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Hotel Rwanda (2004), Children of Men (2006), and The King's Speech (2010). He is the owner of Polar Audio, Ltd.
