The Deadlock Gang was a notorious group of outlaws that trafficked illicit weapons and military hardware throughout the southwest United States. Talented and ingenious, they were nonetheless captured by Overwatch during a sting operation. Only one member of the gang, McCree, was offered an opportunity to redeem himself. The others were locked away in prison.
