The Skirmish in Imperial City, also called the Coruscant bombing, and to a lesser extent the Imperial City bombing, was an attempt by the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and the New Jedi Order to kill or arrest Sang Juntao and disband his crime group, the Core Triad. Believing Juntao to be at a heavily guarded Triad storehouse near the Imperial Palace, twelve Jedi, led by Jedi Master Jaden Korr, along with several battalions of the Coruscant Security Force and Galactic Alliance Security, attacked it. Initially successful, the CSF/GAS force and the Jedi broke into the storehouse, though after taking significant casualties from Triad guards.
