Usagi Kamahime was a samurai-ko of the Hare Clan full of energy and swordplay. She was haunted by her critical father who considers her a disappointment. Kamahime was selected to compete in the Topaz Championsip at Tsuma. During the contest she found pinned in her door a letter of challenge from an old nemesis, but the name of the challenger was torn off. Being near-sighted, she started stalking anyone until she realized he was not her nemesis. The challenge was a jest by another contender, Kakita Shino, who wanted to spook Kamahime. Shino had been harassing the organizers for a room with a better view.
