The Crisis Branch was a division of SBI, formed during emergencies. In 22 BBY, Armand Isard formed one, the first time in sixty years it had been called into being. Isard's division was composed of Intelligence directors from the Core Worlds, and worked directly with the Jedi High Council and Loyalist Committee. Its first act was to fire local directors from 32 Mid Rim worlds considered corrupt.
