The Sword of Balance is a one-handed sword which can be obtained by using an Elixir of Balance on a Saradomin sword whilst standing in the God Wars Dungeon. It requires 85 Attack to wield. It has a special attack called Guthix's Pierce, which drains the melee stats from the opponent. It drains at a rate of 1/80 of the damage dealt. For example, if you were to hit 2000 with the weapons special attack, 1.25% of the damage taken (25) would be shared out and negated from the opponents current melee stats (Attack, Strength, Defence and Prayer) and added to the attacking player's corresponding melee stats. This drains 50% of the special attack bar, making it a very deadly weapon in PvE and PvP combat, being able to hit extremely high and at the same time severely drain the Defence of a player.
