Jito appears in the Emperor of Nihon-Ja. He is the headman of Riverside Village and offers help to Shigeru and Shukin when they need it and offers them a guide to lead them to the legendary fortress of Ran-Koshi. Jito is a Kikori who is loyal to the Emperor and calls Arisaka an oath-breaker, condemning his actions against Shigeru, stating that they have also set the Nihon-Ja lord against the Kikori. He also helps fight Arisaka's men, helping Shigeru.
