Erosene winds were an astronomical effect in the atmosphere of the planet Alastria, located forty thousand light years from Sikaris. The winds start shortly before the sun rises, and were said to evoke euphoria in those who encountered them. Ensign Harry Kim enjoyed the sensation of the erosene winds in 2371, when he and a Sikarian female named Eudana transported there by using the spatial trajector. (VOY: "Prime Factors")
