Eyes of the Phoenix was a kata of the Phoenix Clan learned by the Shiba Bushi school. This exercise was a graceful series of steps and slow motions as the bushi moved in a circle around a meditating shugenja, aligning their chi. When the kata was complete, the shugenja and bushi shared a brief supernatural connection that made the Shiba a formidable guardian.
