In Christian demonology (Late Medieval- Early Modern European), Naberius (also spelled Naberus, Cerberus, Cerbere [Nabiros is a less common and more modern spelling of the name] is a demon with the rank of Marquis of Hell, commanding 19 legions of demons. Naberius appears as a crow or a black crane. He can make his conjurer cunning in all forms of art (and some sources say all the sciences as well), especially rhetoric. He can restore lost dignities and honors (but some sources say he can make men lose their dignities and honors). Naberius is 1 of 69 demons listed in the Pseudomonarchia Dæmonum and 1 of 72 listed in the Ars Goetia (the first section of the Lesser Key of Solomon).
