Robins' first name was not given on screen, only in the novelisation. Robins is killed in the novelisation in a scene not hinted at on screen. The Silurian Morka controls Robins' mind and forces him to leap off a chasm to his death. The rest of the Brigadier's team in the caves is out of range, and only Robins—the weakest—could be controlled by him.
