Warric of Mandash (pronounced WAHR-rihk of man-DASH), born in 444 HE, was a cousin of Owen of Jesslaw. He began his page training the year after Owen came to the palace along with another cousin, Iden of Vikison Lake, in 454 HE. Warric is sponsored by Merric of Hollyrose, a friend of Owen. Owen introduced him and Iden to Kel once she arrived at the palace after the summer. Later he asked Kel to help him with his staff practice, as he wasn't very good at it.
