Mistalion, son of Misturin, was a Man of Gondor and an adventurer around the end of the Third Age. He wandered the lands of Middle Earth, for some reason never heading east of the Misty Mountains. He claimed that while greater heroes than he were needed to fight Sauron, someone needed to watch the homefront. As such, he found himself in the Shire during the Scouring, where he fell.
