The Thanatok was a Federation Starfleet starship in service in the late 22nd century. It was a cruiser. The vessel was crewed entirely by Andorians with an overzealous captain. On reference stardate 1/1209.12 (circa 2186), the Thanatok attacked and destroyed an Orion pirate enclave at Brurem. However, a number of civilians were also killed. The Botchok Planetary Congress protested the civilian deaths, and the Federation punished the Thanatok's captain. (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge)
