Mike Keogh (born 2nd June 1979 in Withington) appeared on Coronation Street in September 2002 as PC Basson, who arrested Joe Carter following a fight with Dev Alahan for the hand of Rovers' barmaid Geena Gregory. Educated at St Anne's High School in Heaton Chapel, he worked as a travel agent before taking on a drama student lodger who suggested he audition for the North Cheshire Theatre School, where he was granted a placement.
