The Painted Scorpion (Taz."Juthjuth") was a scorpion found throughout the Kirmlesra. It was highly poisonous and feared by all travelers through the area. Bright red in color, the Juthjuth grew up to two inches long. The sting of the scorpion caused insanity (up to 2 years) and might result in death. People that survived the experience were normally not "right" for the rest of their days. The poison (juth) was won from the Juthjuths glands.
