The 1958-44 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) - Pacific Coast Late Model Series (now Camping World Late Model Series) combination event held at California State Fairgrounds on September 7, 1958. It was the PCLMS finale. Parnelli Jones won his only GN race of the year (it was his sixth PCLMS victory of the year), holding off Bob Ross from the pole. Eventual GN season champ Lee Petty did not compete in the event, but Eddie Gray took home the PCLMS championship. Stats
