Lieutenant Helen Johansson was a female Starfleet officer in the 23rd century. She was a mutual friend of Miss Piper and James T. Kirk. Lieutenant Johansson gave Miss Piper a sufficiently detailed description of Captain Kirk that she recognized him immediately upon his arrival at Starbase 11 in 2267. When Piper mentioned this to Kirk, he became visibly nervous as to how much detail Johansson had gone into, although Piper assured him that "she merely mentioned she knew you." (TOS: "The Menagerie, Part I" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
