Jemma Brown appeared on Coronation Street in February 1996 as Sandra Buckley, a former school friend of Kelly Thomson. She trained at Manchester Metropolitan University, gaining a BA (Hons) in Drama and English, and has been credited for roles in Up Front and The Ward (both for Granada Television). On stage she has appeared in productions of She Stoops to Conquer, As You Like it, Greek, The Strip and The Archbishop's Ceiling.
