Kaiu Horuko's Soroban was an abacus, made with a simple wood frame with a sun and moon design on opposite sides, strung with copper wires, set with small coral beads. A code wheel in the frame gave an advantage to its owner during trades. For many years it was lost in the Shadowlands.
