Africa was hardly hit at all in Doomsday; however, before Doomsday it had many problems, such as famine, dictatorships, and civil wars. Therefore, after Doomsday it escaped the widespread destruction of North America, Europe, and Asia, but did not become powerful like South America and Oceania.
