General Gabriele Aimone Lanza de Paolis, Baron of Castrignano (7 March 1924 - 4 November 1984) was an Italian officer. De Paolis was born at Benghazi in Italian Libya. After graduating in Italian Royal Military academy in the 1950 he became deputy general of NATO in the 1978. He died at Lecce, Italy.
