Candy Rasmussen is a popular vlogger and Hero who commands a network of fanatical fans. She uses her vlog, Voice of the Victim, to distribute information about known or suspected Beasts and other threats to her community. Candy's powers manifested in college, when she began collaborating with a shy boy named Jess on a series of vlogs. She began having horrible nightmares, until late one night she stumbled into the campus media library and found it an entrance to Jess's Lair. Horrified at her friend's secret, Candy set fire to Jess's film collection and locked him in to die.
