Shinzaemon is a man that honours the traditional path of a shinobi. Thankfully, his nature is an excellent attribute to this specialisation. As noted by Kōsei, even his presence is equivalent to his fixated element: the wind, which contributes to the swift and stealthiness of his killing art. As such, its necessary to keep his profile low at all times, hence why Shinzaemon has taught himself to eliminate his bloodlust. However, in all truth, the man is explicitly distinguishable from the others with his set of skills: turning academic techniques into deadly skills. Therefore Shinzaemon could potentially remove himself from the realm through the concept of the Body Flicker Technique and annihilate those that oppose his master.
