The Alimbic Cannon is, as its name suggests, a cannon, created by the race of aliens known as the Alimbics. Its construction took many years, as it broke records for being the largest cannon in the universe. When its construction was finally finished, Xiphias accidentally pressed the button that would detonate it, causing the destruction of most of the planet's life and turning it into a stark wasteland full of volcanoes and such.
