Molly is the daughter of a lord who serves the Queen of England. Intelligent and feisty, she is thirteen years old and is assigned to protect a trunk full of magic dust and keep it out of the reach of evil men. Our heroine is cared for by her nanny, Mrs. Bumbrake. They get captured by the evil pirate Bill Slank and locked in the dungeon. That is when Molly meets the boy who would become Peter Pan and his friends Prentiss and Teddy. She promises to lead them to safety and becomes their surrogate mother.
