With his dōjutsu's ability to perceive chakra with much more clarity than is possible through natural means, Kazuhide is also able to apply this technique against chakra itself. In this manner he was able to destroy a water dragon bearing down on him with what would appear to onlookers as a simple sword strike. Applying this technique against chakra-based structures works in the same manner as attempting the maneuver against physical objects. It should be noted that while this technique can be employed against most chakra-based constructs, most barriers are especially resistant to being shattered in this manner. Despite this, Kazuhide has managed to damage even incredibly powerful barriers by combining this skill with an arrow, delivering the destructive burst of chakra at a single point.
