The hood may be used to teleport to the museum; however, it is destroyed in the process. There is a warning if this is done while the hood is in the inventory, but no warning if done while the hood is equipped. However, it is worth noting that an un-hooded cape will convert to 5,000,000 coins in the Wilderness, effectively refunding the cost of both the hood and cape. The hood can also be added to the cape to create the Hooded completionist cape (t).
