Lowbacca was a male Wookiee Jedi apprentice. He was part of the Jedi-led Mission to Korriban. He was the squad-leader of the group which was supposed to keep the Jedi's supplies safe. (The others were Zekk, Imon Redirnus, and Jovan Drark.) While performing his duties, he and the rest of the group were attacked by mutated shyracks and he was knocked out. He was subjected to torture and brainwashing by the Sith Lord Darth Mutatos. He was able to keep his mind intact, which led to him and two other Jedi being subjected to even more torture.
