Flippityflop is the Prince of Clowns and the ruler of the Valley of Clowns in Merryland, under the gracious favor of the Queen of Merryland. His father and grandfather were Princes of the Valley before him. He is a richly dressed clown with a sweet and pleasing voice. When Dot Freeland and Tot Thompson floated through the Valley of Clowns, Flippityflop greeted them happily and hosted them overnight at his home. (Dot and Tot of Merryland)
